How do we stop unsavory individuals from vandalizing and making jams impossible? At least one person found versenudel and won't stop spamming trash and deleting code. I can't think of any satisfactory solution; a votekick system could be abused, accounts would open a huge can of worms, moderation would require centralization/a BDFL, etc. Multiple websites and private rooms work in our favor, but security through obscurity can only go so far, and too much could block well-meaning jammers. Any ideas?
this is a hard one to answer. In all honesty, I don't know. Having other tools, other rooms is good but there is the worst case still unaccounted for:

I definitely think that more anti-automation methods would be helpful.
If they must write everything by hand, then the bad actors can't be everywhere and can be fought fairly by good actors.
But how do we do that? I don't know of any good way to detect macros without incredible difficulty.
Staying slippy is good, i think. less centralization means there's no main target.
The pastagang versenudel room's been down for quite some time now, though. No idea when it will be back.
